The world may have already ended once for the human race in the world of Horizon, and now it looks set to end again. It’s up to Aloy to try to save a dying Earth in Horizon Forbidden West.
Guerilla Games are looking to outdo themselves with Horizon Forbidden West, no small feat considering Horizon Forbidden Dawn is easily one of the PS4’s best looking, and truly epic, games. Forbidden West looks to be going even larger than before with a world ending threat for Aloy to contend with, new machines to fight (and control) and new tribes to encounter.
This new story trailer gives us a glimpse of what we’re in store for with the Forbidden West. New characters will be introduced along with those new tribes who also have the ability to control machines, while familiar faces from the first game will be returning in both support, and possibly, antagonistic roles. Aloy will also have some new abilities which include scuba diving and a paraglider. Off course there’s the requisite new areas to explore with stunning, jaw dropping visuals such as the remains of The Golden Gate Bridge.
On the off chance that you haven’t played Horizon Forbidden Dawn before, now is the time you should get around to it as there’s only a month left till the launch of Forbidden West.Horizon Forbidden West launches on PS4 and PS5 on February 18th, 2022.
