Piranha Bytes, developers of the Gothic and Risen series, are preparing to bring you back into another open world RPG with the sequel to their SF fantasy game ELEX, ELEX II.
Players can get ready to return to the world of Magalan in ELEX II on March 1st, 2022 for PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series machines.
Set several years after the events of ELEX, our hero Jax has a new threat to contend with as an alien race has invaded Magalan. Left with no choice but to fight them, Jax must travel across the world, recruiting the various factions to his cause while searching for his son if there’s to be any hope of saving the planet.
You’ll be able to take on this new threat any way you please, with any weapon you desire. Guns, bows, rockets, swords and axes, the choice of how you fight and what you fight with will be up to you with the developers promising that you can learn every skill or master every weapon. What’s more, you’ll be able to progress through the story any way you please. The open world of Magalan will be open for you to explore with unprecedented freedom as you take to the skies with a trusty jetpack.
The game will feature characters that will remember your decisions and will react accordingly so you’d best think about how you go about your business if you don’t want people leaving your side. NPC’s can also be killed which will affect the overall story.
So get ready for an expansive action RPG when ELEX II launches on March 1st, 2022.
