Aerial combat game The Falconeer, developed by Tomas Sala, is soaring across the console divide to take roost on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5 on the 5th of August 2021 as The Falconeer: Warrior Edition. The Warrior Edition will contain all of the games updates, expansions and add-ons to this point, including re-recorded voicework and a streamlined prologue. The game was originally released on Xbox One and PC and as a launch title for the Xbox Series S/X in November of 2020.

You can check out the new announcement trailer for The Falconeer Warrior Edition below. The video showcases some of the game’s main features as well as shows off the gorgeous visuals on offer.

The launch coincides with the release of a new expansion for the game called Edge of The World. This expansion contains brand new quests, items, stories and map locations. The Edge of The World DLC will be available for purchase separately on the game’s launch platforms on the same day as the Warrior Edition’s release. Thankfully though the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation versions of the game will have the new expansion already contained within the Warrior Edition.

The Falconeer features a gorgeous aesthetic and has a large open-world where players will wage aerial warfare against opposing factions. The game has a rich story filled with tonnes of lore and we’re glad to see that this air combat game is making its way to other platforms for gamers to enjoy it on.

Explore the Great Ursee in The Falconeer when it launches on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch on August 5 2021. Or alternatively, you can hop into right now if you have an active Xbox GamePass subscription and a compatible console or PC. It’s a great game and one that really shouldn’t fly underneath your radar.
