After two weeks of nonstop showcases, we’ve been going through all the trailers and picking out a few highlights for the year (years?) ahead. The second big conference was Summer Game Fest 2023 and, just like the Sony conference, it felt a little disjointed and underwhelming with plenty of games we’ve seen already before and a distinct lack of diversity (both with regard to the games and presenters). Thankfully, there were still decent gameplay reveals and some great-looking Indie titles.
