Asterix and Obelix are returning to consoles in November with Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All!, a glorious return to the 2D beat-em-up arcade games of old. Developed by Mr. Nutz Studio and featuring beautiful 2D artwork, this new game inspired by the classic Asterix & Obelix comics will be releasing on November 25th for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC, with Backwards Compatible support for PS5 and Xbox Series machines.

Publisher Microids have announced that, in addition with the Limited and Collector’s Editions of the game, Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! Will also be receiving a limited Ultra Collector’s Edition via partnership with Strictly Limited Games. This edition of the game is already available for pre-order through Strictly Limited Games online store and will be available for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

This very limited edition will set you back a pretty penny though as it’s priced at 149.99 Euros. What you will get in the box are:

  • A coaster set
  • A postcard set
  • A collector’s coin
  • Certificate of Authenticity
  • A sticker set
  • Four art prints

  • And finally, three more Asterix games: XXL Romastered, XXL 2 Remastered and XXL 3.

So, get ready to jump back into the world of Asterix & Obelix on November 25th 2021 as you pummel your way through the Roman army, pirates and brigands in Adventure Mode, either by yourself or with a friend in local multiplayer, or take to the leaderboards in Arcade Mode and show those Romans why this little slice of Gaul has never been conquered.
