Take a look at the tribes and machines in Horizon Forbidden West
Horizon Forbidden West Showcases Fourteen Minutes of Gameplay

It’s been nine months since Guerilla Games and Sony gave us a gameplay showcase for Horizon: Forbidden West, the sequel to the exceptional post-apocalyptic Horizon: Forbidden Dawn. That reveal came in May of 2021 leaving many of us salivating over the game’s final release date, which just happens to be around the proverbial corner now.

Ahead of the games release on February 18th, 2022, new videos have slowly been coming out showcasing more of the world’s features.

First up is a look at the sentient machines that inhabit Aloy’s world and the new dangers that she will have to brave. Forbidden Dawn is still a visual tour de force for Sony’s Playstation 4, with the strongest elements of it’s modelling lying in the creature design and animation. Guerilla Games have clearly continued to maintain this level of excellence with creature design for the sequel. With the sequel sporting both a PS4 and PS5 release, it will be interesting to see just how well the games versions stack up to each other.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, today we got a look at the people that inhabit Aloy’s world. Along with the new tribes that inhabit the world, the trailer also gives us a brief glimpse of the environments that you will be threading through and the level of work that Guerilla Games have put into making Horizon Forbidden West another epic that needs to be experienced. There will be no shortage of threats for Aloy to face off against and people to help in her journey deep into the West.

Horizon Forbidden West certainly seems to look amazing and we cannot wait for release day next month. Are you looking forward to playing this game? Be sure to drop us a comment and let us know what you think.
