After an insane October, November arrives with just as many expensive and heavily-marketed AAA games but there are still some potentially great “AA” mid-tier and indie games to look out for. Here are some of our picks for the video games of November 2023 with their release dates and latest gameplay trailers below.

The Invincible (06-11-23)

The Invincible puts players in the role of Yasna, a sharp-tongued astrobiologist forced to search for her crew and bring them back “dead or alive” as a perilous mission to the eerie planet Regis III takes an awry turn. On the surface, it may seem that Regis III is uninhabited but that doesn’t mean the people who visit here can feel like unopposed rulers. The philosophical nature of the events on Regis III will make Yasna forever question the scale of humankind’s ambitions.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (09-11-23)

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion (14-11-23)

Jagged Alliance 3 (16-11-23 on consoles)

Grand Chien, a nation of rich natural resources and deep political divides, is thrown into chaos when the elected president goes missing and a paramilitary force known as “The Legion” seizes control of the countryside. Now, the President’s family has pulled together all their resources, including an arrangement with the powerful Adonis corporation, to hire a group of skilled mercenaries tasked with finding the President and bringing order back to the country. In Jagged Alliance 3, select from a huge cast of mercenaries all with their own unique personalities, quirks, and backstories. Then go out and explore Grand Chien as you meet new people, earn money, grow your team, and ultimately make your own decisions that will decide the country’s fate.

Persona 5 Tactica (17-11-23)

Super Mario RPG (17-11-23)

The first-ever Mario RPG, overhauled for Nintendo Switch. Bowser’s up to his usual tricks – he’s kidnapped Princess Peach, so it’s Mario to the rescue! Warhammer: Age of Sigmar – Realms of Ruin (17-11-23)
