Prepare for Vengeance with Shin Megami Tensei V’s new launch trailer

Atlus, developers of the incredibly popular Persona series of RPG’s, originally released the latest instalment of their other popular RPG franchise, Shin Megami Tensei, back in 2021 for the Nintendo Switch with Shin Megami Tensei V. Now, three years later, Atlus is bringing Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance to the Nintendo Switch and every other platform on the market. So that’s Switch, PC, Xbox One/Series machines, and PS4/PS5.

Vengeance is more than just an enhanced edition of Shin Megami Tensei V – it’s the “definitive” expanded edition, featuring the original campaign and a new expansion with a new storyline. The developers have dived back into the game, adding new areas, refining the battle mechanics, improving the feel of exploration with new demon encounters, all to make your journey through a post-apocalyptic Tokyo even better.

The original release of Shin Megami Tensei V, the Canon of Creation, put you into the shoes of a newly minted demigod in post apocalypse Tokyo. Thrust into a battle for the fate of the world between angels and demons, your choices determine the fate of all creation. The new storyline, the Canon of Vengeance, pits you against the fallen who have their own plans. Once again, your choices will determine the story.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance launches on July 14th on Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One/Xbox Series, and PS4/PS5
